Oregano v/s Parasites

Oregano oils may not be popular around the world, but they do help in eliminating the traces of parasites from humans. The worst part about this entire scenario is that most people are unaware of the act that they even have parasites, to begin with.

Given to you here are some facts about oregano oil having anti-parasitic properties of sort.

INTESTINAL PARASITES

Human intestinal parasites are generally one-cell organisms or intestinal worms which live in the large and small intestine; and end up using the blood from intestinal walls or stool as source of food for their growth.

A parasite will end up surviving by almost ‘hijacking’ another organism; robbing it of all its nutrients. It will thank the host organism by leaving behind its toxic waste. It is obvious news that we and our bodies would be a lot happier if these parasites weren’t around.

There are around over 100 parasites that can live in conditions of a human host body. Parasitic infections are also increasing in number given the fact that people have begun traveling to countries and nations where these parasites can be found in big numbers. They end up taking back these creatures to their hometowns and houses. This way the epidemic has been growing.

OREGANO v/s PARASITES

Oregano is called wild marjoram and Mexican wild sage. Oregano has a flavor which is peppery in nature and has a hint of thyme and sage. The Chinese doctors have for years used this herb to treat vomiting, diarrhea, fever and some basic skin problems.

It helps in ridding the body of intestinal parasites as well; by loosening and removing the mucus. It is viewed as being a digestive aid. Oregano is believed to have anticancer and antioxidant properties.

In one particular study, around 77 percent of the patients who were parasite infected were seen to be parasite free once they consumed oregano oil in the form of tablet form. They continued this treatment for a period of 6 weeks. The consumption of oregano was seen to be responsible in inhibiting the growth of a good ten varieties of microbes. This herb is also known to contain rosmarinic acid, which ends up providing it with anti-mutagenic and anti-carcinogenic properties.

This medicinal oregano is seen to grown in mountainous regions. It is generally found in areas of Greece and Turkey. It is, by nature, rich in magnesium, iron, zinc, potassium and copper. Oregano oil is used as an important component in creating antibiotics.
