Dandruff home remedies can be an effective treatment

  • Tea tree oil possesses anti- fungal property that is regarded as one of the best remedy to cure dandruff. Add few drops of tea tree oil to your normal hair oil, and massage your scalp with this mixture once in a week.
  • Mix one part of cider vinegar to three parts of water. Use this solution for final rinse after shampooing.
  • Use warm wheat germ oil to massage your scalp. Cover your hair for thirty minutes with clean and soft towel. Rinse your hair after thirty minutes with warm water.
  • Extract out fresh gel of Aloe Vera and apply it on your scalp. Aloe Vera is considered as one of the best conditioner, thus let the extract rest on your hair scalp for an hour. Later on wash them thoroughly.
  • Warm up the coconut oil and massage your scalp for approximately thirty minutes. Let the oil stay overnight and wash it thoroughly in the morning. Perform this task at least three times in week.
  • Soak one teaspoonful of fenugreek seeds in water for overnight. Grind the seeds into smooth paste and put it all over your scalp. Wash your hair with warm water after thirty minutes.
  • Add ten grams of powdered black pepper to freshly squeezed lime juice along with half cup of milk. Rub this mixture and let it rest for an hour on your scalp. Wash your hair for better results.
  • Use lime water for your final rinse after deep shampooing.
  • Olive oil is one of the best herbal oils and is an excellent dandruff home remedies. Massage your hair with olive oil. Wash your hair in the morning with warm water.
  • Add few drops of rosemary oil to coconut oil and apply this mixture on your scalp. Wash your hair in the morning and have final rinse with lemon water.
  • Combine equal parts of freshly squeezed lime water with amla juice. Dab this mixture on your scalp and wash it off in the morning.
  • From ancient times, yogurt is considered as healthy supplement for your hair. Rub your scalp with fresh yogurt and let it remain for twenty to thirty minutes. Wash your hair with warm water.

Apart from the home remedies, Ayurveda also suggest to consume nutritional diet. Include green leafy vegetables and fruits in your diet. Lower down the intake of tea, coffee, and carbonated drinks. Replace them with fresh fruit or vegetable juice. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Cover your head while traveling in heat and pollution. Stay away from smoking and harmful drugs. And finally, stay happy and healthy.
