Angina and its treatment with herbs

Exercise is fast being bypassed by people in the fast lane not even bothering to cast it a cursory glance as they move along in a life inhabited by poor eating habits, regular stress and poor fitness regimens. Is it any wonder then that heart diseases are cropping up more rapidly than you can say “Robinson Crusoe”? An increasing number of medical practitioners are reporting patients with heart diseases and an increasing percentage of these are angina patients. This pain is like a pulsating bolt of lightning that radiates outwards from your heart to your chest and upper left torso (which includes your jaw-line, shoulder and neck) and while there are herbal remedies present to cure Angina it is always best to try and get immediate medical attention even as the herbal medication mediates and reduces the pain.

To understand Angina better, you must understand the underlying causes for it. Angina is a direct result of fat deposits lining your coronary arteries and while this is not much of an issue in the short term, over time it means that you will eventually be starved of oxygen and nutrients (gradually at first) which in turn causes the searing pain in the heart that we know as Angina. This pain does not manifest itself when you are sitting still and sedentary, instead waiting for you and causing a lot of pain (like a bad birthday surprise) when you’ve decided to set off on a jog or are indulging in a spot of rock climbing. This is because the heart is struggling to receive any oxygen and cannot pump out enough blood as the heart beats go up. It’s a domino effect of the worst sort, and it’s playing out inside you whether you realize it or not.

Modern drugs can deal with Angina, but most of them have known side effects that may or may not affect you in the short or long term. Herbal medicines on the other hand are more natural and as such are accepted by the body as they are not alien in the slightest. The Chinese are known to have created a potent herbal cure for Angina and they are so popular as to be present and available for purchase the world over. Another approach you can take is the use of herbs to bring down LDL cholesterol (aka bad cholesterol) and promote HDL cholesterol within your system. These cures are not a quick fix but in time will do away with your angina and in the meantime you can indulge in a spot of early morning walks and yoga to deal with your angina. There’s no reason for it to impede the quality of your life.
