Women are always complaining about the way they look.
“Do I look too fat honey?”
“Is this dress throwing too much light on my paunch?”
“Is my make-up right?”
“Is my hair in place?”
Sounds familiar? We’re always worried about the way we look. But there’s something about the last question that is really worrying. When you don’t look good in a particular dress, you can always chuck it out. But what do you do about a bad hair day? It will hound you the whole day, won’t it?
The best way to avoid a bad hair day is to take good (I mean, great) care of your hair. If you’re the types who despise chemicals for your hair (good gir!) then we’re with you. This is the exact reason why we’re spelling this one out for you.
Read on to find out how you can create your very own herbal hair conditioner within the comforts of your four walls.
Step # 1
Take some olive oil in a pan. Heat it on a low flame. Ensure that it doesn’t pop or hiss. If it does, then it means that the flame’s on too high.
Step # 2
Get the pan off the heat. Wait for the oil to cool down a bit. When we say ‘cool down’, we mean that it should be at a temperature that is comfortable enough for human touch. It should retain some warmth though.
Step # 3
Transfer the oil into a plastic bottle or container. Ensure that the oil from the pan flows into the bottle/container in one smooth flowing stream. To do so, hold the pan around 2 inches above the opening of the container.
Step # 4
Now, to this pre-heated oil, add around 5 drops of rosemary essential oil. If you are a fan of the way that rosemary smells, then you could add up to 10 drops. Neither we, nor your hair would mind.
Step # 5
This is the final step of the creation of your very-own home made herbal hair-conditioner. Shake the bottle well to make sure that the oils mix together well. Once they’ve mixed well, your conditioner is ready for use. This conditioner can be used daily as well. Given the fact that it is devoid of any artificial chemicals, there is but only good that it can do to your hair. In case you have averagely long or short hair, you could use a teaspoon of this mixture; or you could increase the amount based on the length of your hair.
