Aloe Vera health benefits: good for medicinal purpose



Aloe Vera is well known herb from olden days. It has carried out numbers of miracles. From centuries it is believed to heal many ailments without any harmful reactions. Definitely, it has been proved very much beneficial for good health, but at the same time it is also very effective for external use. The name, medicinal aloe itself depicts the meaning of the plant. Aloe Vera is well known as medicinal aloe. Widely cultivated in many regions it is native to Northern Africa. It requires arid temperature to grow.

You can say that Aloe Vera is a plant without stem or sometimes it just possesses short stems that grow up to 100 cm tall. And it bores lance shaped thick leaves which is fleshy green. The plant blooms a yellow colored tubular flowers.  The center of the leaf contains a gel which is very much beneficial for good health. Thus, we extract the gel for multipurpose reasons. The chemical nutrient possessed by Aloe Vera are Vitamins B, calcium, Enzymes, zinc, copper, potassium, iron, manganese, and sodium. It also includes polysaccharides, monosaccharide, phosphorus, and rhodium. In the world of Ayurveda, Aloe Vera is used to cure many ailments. Researchers have found many peaceful remedies to alleviate the pain. The Aloe Vera uses and benefits are as follows:

  • The burns due to X-ray and many of skin disorders can be cured with the help of Aloe Vera gel. This gel even protects you from UV rays of sun, pollution, and toxic material found in air. Application of Aloe Vera gel on the surface of skin is beneficial for healthy skin. Regular use of Aloe Vera gel helps the skin to glow and shine.
  • The extraction of juice from Aloe Vera plant is used to cure jaundice. It is consumed as a healthy tonic to restore the immunity system and energy. Intake of Aloe Vera juice is also considered good to cure piles problems.
  • It has proved to be doing amazing wonder on wounds, injuries, and burns.
  • Aloe Vera is also a good and effective pain killer which alleviates the pain. Usually, the acid present in Aloe Vera helps to lessen the pain.
  • The anti- septic creams that is prepared from the extract of Aloe Vera kills virus, bacteria, and fungus.
  • Aloe Vera is very much popular in the teenagers as, it helps in curing acnes. Many of skin disorders are treated with the help of Aloe Vera extracts. Regular use of Aloe Vera enhances the health of your skin.
  • It is best remedy when used on insect bites, sores, fungal problem, allergic reaction, rashes, conjunctivitis, and vaginal infections.
  • It is also believed that oral intake of Aloe Vera has proved efficient to calm down the conditions like arthritis, asthma, rheumatism, and heartburn.
  • Aloe Vera is very much beneficial in lessening the sugar level in blood levels. Thus, very much helpful for diabetic patients.

But, like every good thing has some bad things. Thus, excessive intake of Aloe Vera is bad for health. It actually may react adversely.

Excessive consumption of Aloe Vera might result in loss of some nutrients and disturb the fluid balance in the body.

Even the oral consumption can lead in abdominal cramps. People allergic to Aloe Vera should strictly avoid the intake.

Do not take Aloe Vera if you are suffering from diarrhea.

It should not be consumed by pregnant women. Avoid the intake even during menstrual cycle and breast feeding.
